Spring Fitness Challenge 2017

Would YOU be interested in joining a private Facebook group where you would share your health & fitness journey with other like minded women??

This would be a support group where you could check in daily. We would share our highs and lows, recipes, support, accountability, workout ideas, nutrition, etc. This will just be a group where you can post and stay accountable to the workouts and healthy living you are doing. We will share recipes from time to time or workouts we enjoy, etc. So a very relaxed group….the CHALLENGE part will be staying committed to doing the work and living a healthy lifestyle for a full month.

In a nutshell it would be a safe, private, WOMEN’S ONLY support group while we work on becoming healthier and reaching our personal weight loss goals.

Weight Loss 101: 8 Things you can do Today to Start Losing Weight

For the last 4 weeks, this series of blogs has answered your most asked weight loss questions. Today I wanted to share these 8 steps you can start doing NOW to start losing weight. They are very simple and easy to implement.
So grab a pen or better yet, screenshot this blog for future reference.


#1 – Make sure you are healthy enough to start a fitness program

*Check with your doctor if you are unsure.


#2 – Take before photos and measurements

*Believe me…you’ll want proof of your physical change when the scale isn’t moving or you feel unmotivated.


#3 – Lift Iron

*Weight training increases your resting metabolic rate…meaning the amount of calories you burn while sitting on your booty.

*Weight training will give your metabolism a boost after you workout (approx. 2 hours)


#4 – Eat Iron

*Eat iron rich foods. You need iron in your body to help get enough oxygen to your cells and keep that metabolism burning!

*18 mg is a good daily goal


#5 – Drink Water

*Go read this BLOG to find out why


#6 – Avoid Alcohol

*Drinking your calories is never a great thing but alcohol can also allow us to lower our inhibitions and


#7 – Add Interval Training

*Interval training burns more fat than steady state cardio.





#8 – Get your Zzz’s

*When your body is exhausted it can’t do its normal day to day functions. Which includes burning calories. Aim for 6-8 hours a night.

Super Girlz 2016 Holiday Fitness Challenge


This months challenge focuses on CONSISTENCY & BALANCE! Something we all need during the holiday season.

It’s a 31 day challenge that will take you through the month…with a plan. This workout calendar can be tweaked to fit your schedule, but I feel it is a very doable schedule for the holidays. You can also add more cardio on strength training days if you enjoy that. As with any of my challenges or client programs PLEASE contact me if you need ANY help! I can help you set up a workout schedule that will fit into your December schedule or consult with you on what workout programs will compliment your needs and the challenge. I will also be participating in this challenge. I will share my personal workouts with you every day.



We start on THURSDAY December 1st!
We end on Saturday December 31st!
FYI – It’s FREE!!

I will start a private Facebook group for this challenge. EVERYONE is welcome! If you need extra support and accountability please join us and share with your friends & family! The more the merrier!!

If you want added please leave your name & email in the comments or email me. I will be adding everyone in the next couple of days. I will notify you via Facebook or email when the group page has been created & you have been added.

I will also be providing some free workouts you can use for this challenge. You can also use any program you are currently doing. This challenge is very flexible.

The only thing you need for this challenge is a commitment to get in your workouts & to share your progress on the group page.

We will keep each other accountable as we crush this holiday season … ON PLAN & REACHING GOALS!!

FAQ about Super Girlz Fitness

I get asked a lot of questions about my Fitness business…mostly about what I offer & if I’m still a personal trainer.

So, I thought I would type up a little FAQ to update everyone on Super Girlz Fitness. If I missed something you were wondering about please email me at Staci@SuperGirlzFitness.com.


Q: Are you still a certified Personal Trainer?
F: Yes, I am. I have been a certified personal trainer & aerobics & boot camp instructor for 9 years. I am now certified through IFA. My first 4 years as a trainer I was certified through ISSA.

Q: Are you currently taking new clients?
F: Yes, I am still taking on new clients. Actually, I’m currently looking for some Girlz for my HICT at home workout program “test group”. Click HERE to see if it’s a good fit for you. 😉

Q: Do you do meal plans too?
F: No, I no longer do customized meal plans. If you are a client & need help with your diet I will advise you and help you so your efforts in & out of the gym show all your hard work.

Q: Are your training plans customized or one size fits all type programs?
F: I offer both. I can customize a training plan to fit your fitness level, your fitness goals, your workout place preference & tailor your workout to use the equipment you have available to you.

Q: I can’t wait! Do you have any ready to go workouts available today?
F: Yes. Currently I have 2 different ready to go workouts that you can purchase & start today. The Boot Camp workout is 8 weeks long, INFO HERE & the Fat Burning HICT program is 12 weeks long, INFO HERE.

Q: Do you only do training plans for the gym?
F: No. I create custom plans based on your needs & where you want to workout. Most of my clients are women who want to workout at home & I love creating workouts like that.

Q: Do you still sell Beachbody programs & products?
F: Yes. I offer ALL of the Beachbody programs, products & the On Demand service. I find that some of my clients are not ready to work from a training program & prefer to have someone to follow visually during their workouts. I still use many of the Beachbody workout programs myself, to keep from getting bored. The nutritional products are also something I stand behind 100% because I know how much research, tests & trials go into each item. If you need help deciding on a program or product please contact me & I would be happy to help. How to Find your Fitness Motivation

Finding motivation to keep your healthy lifestyle going can sometimes be a struggle. Motivational photos, quotes, friends, events & activities are some of the ways I keep the passion for my healthy lifestyle alive.

My number one tip is to ALWAYS keep the form(s) of motivation that works best for you… “IN YOUR FACE”.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE PHOTOS ~ I love a good quote & since I work from my phone & computer I use them as my wallpaper too keep my goals in front of me all day. Depending on my goals, mood, or activity I will change these up daily, weekly or when the mood strikes. Please feel free to save them & use them if one fits for you.
FYI- The first one is my personal favorite right now.

TAKE PROGRESS PHOTOS ~ Take progress photos of yourself!! This one is a must for anyone looking to change their body. Even if you never show them to anyone else, you will be SO happy to physically SEE your own progress in photos. We all know the scale lies & sometimes we have a very distorted sense of self when we look in the mirror. Photos put the truth in your face. When the scale is slow to move you will see the results in your photos. Take them throughout your journey.

FIND YOUR FIT FRIENDS ~ Find friends, family members or co-workers who also want to take on a healthier lifestyle & set up “fit dates” with each other. Most people find that if they set up a time to meet with a workout buddy they will keep the date & become more consistent with their fitness.

GET SIGNED UP — EVENTS & ACTIVITIES ~ Working toward a goal will help you keep a healthy lifestyle in your face. Pick an activity you enjoy & then find an event that you can participate in. Races are a great way to challenge yourself & work toward a fitness goal. Plus when you have to pay for an event you are more likely to stick to the training & finishing the event.

Spreading joy, optimism and inspiration through the magical power of sidewalk chalk.

Chalk the Walks is a project of The Joy Team and is all about spreading joy, optimism and inspiration through the magical power of sidewalk chalk.

Remember when you were a kid and you’d draw pictures and write happy thoughts with chalk in your driveway and down the sidewalks of your street? And the adults always smiled when they read the big, pastel-colored messages? This is just like that. Only we’re bigger now. And we don’t have to go in the house when the street lights go out.

The idea is as simple as it was in childhood: write happy messages, have fun doing it, spread some joy while you’re at it.


TODAY, spend 10 minutes outside writing an uplifting message in chalk on your sidewalk, driveway or parking lot. 
Then, let us share your lovely creation by posting it on our Facebook page. You can also Tweet and Instagram it with #chalkthewalks .

By the end of the day, we’ll have a fabulous collection of images from all over the U.S. (and even the world!) spreading joy, optimism and inspiration through the playful, magical power of sidewalk chalk.

Last year, for our 5th annual Chalk the Walks event, over 37,000 people joined in from all over the world!

Getting Real about my Fitness Journey

Let’s Get Real Friends

It’s not shocking to most reading this, that I have struggled with my fitness & commitment to my health since the passing of my father over a year & half ago. (He would have been SO pissed I did that too — and I know it) Well, this year I decided enough was enough & I needed to make some changes. Then something this June just clicked with me. I was sick of being unhappy with my body & the level of my fitness. I found The Great Cycle Challenge on Facebook & there was an app to help you track your mileage & it was for a great cause….Children’s Cancer Awareness. I could do something good for myself but more importantly…something for others. So, I signed up & set a personal goal to ride 100 miles in the month of June. I thought it was a good goal that would be challenging but also doable, since I had only ridden my bike a few times last summer.


Something changed within me that first week of riding consistently. I found an outlet for my emotions and anxiety. I finally felt a “freedom” I haven’t felt in a very long time. I actually ENJOYED getting up at 6:30 am & heading out for a ride. I found something to get excited for & to work toward. I use to feel this way about running but that slowly ended & I felt such dread & anxiety over every run. I doubted my every step & it was just messing with my self esteem. I WANTED to love it again…I even felt at one point like I NEEDED to love it again for my sanity. I decided to take a break from running for a bit & tried starting back up after a fun 5k race with my family. I enjoyed that race & the time with my family but the actual running…not so much.

Not many know this fun fact about me but, I have a hole in my heart and have since birth. It has never affected my life or my fitness in any way. I am well aware that as I age that may not always be the case. I knew I wanted to find a workout that was going to help keep my heart healthy and my mind & body happy. Insert bicycling! It’s a low impact workout that I can control the intensity with. HIIT, interval, steady state, etc. Cycling for me has been so much more than just a workout. My mental health is in the best spot it’s been in a very long time. The bonus is I’ve dropped 10+ pounds & my body image has increased 100%. I know this body can do more and now I mentally WANT to do more. It’s time to put my needs on the priority list. Time to keep challenging myself & crushing goals. 😉
